Paige Spiranac had a tough finish to 2025.
The popular golf influencer, who has millions of followers across her social media platforms, was involved in some major drama at The Internet Invitational. Spiranac was accused of cheating in the final round for $1 million. Her team ended up losing the 3-on-3 final round, though fans continued to rip her for apparent cheating.

Spiranac was distraught over the accusations, claiming that she simply didn't know the rules. She said she would never intentionally cheat.
"I haven't really talked about it because there's not much to say about it, honestly," said Spiranac, who was seen stomping around some tall grass by her ball. "I am painfully, painfully
embarrassed that I did not know that rule . . . but I would never intentionally cheat. In all my years of playing golf, I have never been accused of cheating."
Spiranac received a lot of disturbing messages.

"The last week and a half has been probably the worst hate I've ever received in the 10 years of me doing this, I'm talking tens of thousands of death threats, people telling me to kill myself, the most vile, horrendous stuff you could ever say to an individual, that's been in my DMs," Spiranac says. "I mean, to the point where we were discussing me having to potentially get a restraining order. I mean, it's like serious stuff."
